Lazarro Nettles is a native born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. He grew up playing the saxophone in his Dad's church at a very young age where he began 
Developing his own unique style of playing. This combination of gospel tones, jazz overlays, bluesy riffs with that edgy funk that always set it off. Lazarro Nettles smooth warm sound is guaranteed to move you. 
His motto is: "Being prepared for everything", I play it all,; smooth jazz, straight ahead, blues, gospel, soul and funk ! 
Lazarro Nettles has opened and shared the big stage with several renowned artists such as: The Average White Band, Ronald Isley, The Gap Band and The Smithsonian Duke Ellington Moving Museum.
